Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command

The University of Pittsburgh, Department of Sports Medicine and Nutrition received a four year research grant from the Office of Naval Research to study injury prevention and human performance models with the Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Commands (MARSOC). The addition of the MARSOC study completes the scientific support for all component commands enabling the University of Pittsburgh to represent US Special Operations Command and Preservation of the Force and Family’s desire to establish scientific basis for injury prevention and human performance training needs. This research project is being performed at the MARSOC Compound located on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC.
