Kellen is a doctoral student in the Sports Medicine program within the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to enrolling in the doctoral program, he received his master’s degree in Sports Medicine from Armstrong State University. There, he served as a Graduate Student Researcher for the Biodynamics and Human Performance Center. In addition, Kellen has served as an instructor of biomechanics at the University of Scranton and oversaw biomechanics research conducted in their Human Motion and Ergonomics Laboratory. Kellen’s research interests include performance optimization and injury prevention in tactical populations, spine biomechanics with external loads, and biomechanical performance assessments.
