Dakota Tiede

Dakota is a research assistant at the Neuromuscular Research Laboratory/Warrior Human Performance Center. He graduated from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science in 2021, and with Master's in Exercise Physiology in 2023. Dakota also has experience as a personal trainer for the National Institute of Fitness and Sport (NIFS). During his time at IUPUI, he studied changes in muscle gene expression related to common markers of muscle damage, and the effect of kinesiotape on delay onset muscle soreness. His current research interest includes human performance and skeletal muscle responses to resistance-based training.
