The NMRL hosted visitors from the Allegheny County Police and Pittsburgh Bureau of Police on Friday, January 3, 2020. Our visitors included Sergeant Robert H. Poloka, training coordinator at the Allegheny County Police Training Academy and CSM in the PA ARNG. Drs. Nindl and Lovalekar presented about our research including the Soldier Performance and Readiness as Tactical Athletes (S.P.A.R.T.A.) and the Cognitive Resilience (CoRes) studies, and plans for our proposed study among public safety personnel. The visit included a tour of the NMRL. The presentation and tour were well received by our visitors. We look forward to working with the City of Pittsburgh and the Allegheny County Police.
