Maria Canino successfully defended her dissertation entitled "Localizing the Neural Consequences after Traumatic Ligamentous Injury" on Wednesday, September 20th. Her committee members included Dr. James Irrgang, Dr. Adam Popchak. Dr. Shawn Flanagan, Dr. Adam Sterczala, Dr. Volker Musahl, and the defense was moderated by Dr. Bradley Nindl. After years of hard work, dedication, and countless hours of research, Dr. Maria Canino has emerged as an expert in the field of neuroscience. We are proud to call her an alumna of the Neuromuscular Reasearch Laboratory and we have no doubt that she will continue to make significant contributions to her chosen field.
